Cationic
Yarn made from Polyester Cationic Dyeable Polyester is a
modified polyester fibre because it contains cationic
dye-able sulfonic acid groups, which enhance the
fabric’s dyeability. It just takes a little
quantity of dye for a deep, rich hue, increasing the
dye’s brilliance.

Using cationic cotton technology, you may use a wider
range of dyes on your fabric, giving you more creative
freedom with your colour choices. Change the
cationization level (higher = deeper colour) and use
both cationized and ordinary cotton in the same fabric
to create unique patterns. For tonal effects in the
fabric, you may change how much cationization there is;
for clear sharp lines, you can mix with non-cationized
yarn and create regions that do not absorb the dye. The
use of alternating cationic and non cationic yarns may
also provide interesting yarn colour effects. Cationic
cotton may be used to make pure cotton yarns or yarns
that are a mix of cotton and other fibres.
